He performs primary and revision total joint replacements using state of the art technology on patients with severe arthritis and other disabling conditions of the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow.
Fracture & Trauma Care
Dr.Neuman offers fellowship trained, expert care for traumatic orthopaedic conditions, including acute fractures, dislocations and injuries to the bones, joints and surrounding muscular and soft tissues. Emergency treatment can be rendered in our office, a hospital emergency department, or as an in-patient, depending on the nature of the injury. Dr. Neuman is also well versed in handling other problems associated with traumatic injuries such as non-union, mal-union, revision fixation surgery and infection.
Arthroscopy has become one of the most frequently used procedures for diagnosis and treatment of joint injuries. A minor procedure, arthroscopy is performed on an outpatient basis. When appropriate, Dr. Neuman utilizes advanced arthroscopic surgical techniques for joint problems involving the knees, ankles, shoulders, elbows and wrists.
There has been an increase in athletic participation in all age groups. Whether you are a professional or amateur athlete, or a weekend warrior injuries do occur. Dr. Neuman provides diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries, including injuries to the bone, joints and surrounding muscular and soft tissue structures. He will utilize a comprehensive treatment approach (including surgical, non-surgical, conditioning and rehabilitation techniques) in order to return the patient to his/her activity with less chance of repeated injury.
Whether it’s a fall from a bike, the monkey bars or a sports related injury, Dr. Neuman is very comfortable treating children. He will diagnose and treat common orthopaedic injuries in the younger patient. If the patient requires expertise for a difficult problem, he will refer the patient to a Pediatric Orthopaedics specialist.
Dr. Neuman renders services to the injured worker for any orthopaedic condition requiring emergency, operative or conservative care.
